Emily is a physical therapist, runner, and lover of all things outdoors who believes that movement equals freedom.
She is passionate about working alongside individuals in pain to help them understand their bodies and their innate capacity to heal so they can experience this freedom to the highest degree, whatever that looks like for them.
She believes that limitations are an invitation to be curious and that together we can always find another way to heal. She is excited about helping clients embrace small changes they can make in their daily lives to feel and move better.
Emily hails from Indiana but loves to travel all over the country, especially out west, to do mountain races, self-supported ultras, and explore new trail systems with friends.
She is also a run coach and is especially excited about helping ultramarathon athletes enhance performance by training smarter not harder, including improving fueling, trail tactics, and balancing recovery.
When not in the clinic or out on the trails, she spends her time perusing local grocery stores, baking, and listening to mystery podcasts. She is new to the Austin area and is always in the market for a coffee shop or local market recommendation!
Her favorite way to move is running, the intrinsic challenge of which she believes makes her a better human and physical therapist. She also regularly enjoys weightlifting, cycling, yoga, and hiking with her partner Justin and their pup, Hazel.

Emily is a movement enthusiast, a skilled pelvic health and orthopedic physical therapist, and your new best friend in getting you back to what you love. She’s a firm believer in the mind-body connection and that movement truly is medicine. Whether you’re gearing up for a marathon or just trying to hold your newborn without a nagging ache, Emily is here to empower you. Growing up playing volleyball her entire life and dealing with her own pelvic floor dysfunction, Emily enjoys treating fitness enthusiasts, anyone with a pelvis dealing with pelvic floor dysfunction, and weekend warriors with chronic hip, low back, and/or SIJ pain.
With a B.S. in Kinesiology from Texas A&M University (Whoop!) and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from UT Southwestern, Emily merges her passion for serving underrepresented communities with her expertise in holistic, individualized care. With experience in orthopedics/sports, pediatric and adult pelvic health, inpatient rehab and acute care, she’s ready to help you tackle a wide range of movement challenges.
Outside of the clinic, Emily enjoys running, strength training, and telling the world’s best dad jokes. As a new Austin resident and avid foodie, she’s always open to recommendations for great restaurants or great views after a run or walk with her dog.

Erin is a runner, writer, and physical therapist who loves taking on new challenges and inspiring others to do the same. She is a firm believer that movement is one of the best forms of medicine, and that everyone deserves to feel their own version of strength.
Originally from New Jersey, Erin earned a BA in journalism from Northeastern University in Boston. After working in the media industry in New York City for several years and becoming an endurance athlete herself – writing about everything from why running makes our digestive systems go crazy, to how marathon training literally changed her life – she pivoted to pursue her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Southern California. She loves to combine her passions by writing about health, fitness and wellness.
More than just writing about it, Erin likes to be about it, by helping individuals build endurance and train for races as a run coach, and by guiding people out of pain and into stronger human beings as a physical therapist.
Erin loves empowering people to meet their goals, to push (and exceed!) their limits, and to have fun while doing it. She loves to laugh and build relationships, and likes to bring her sense of humor to the (treatment) table.
Her favorite ways to move currently include running, hiking, and CrossFit – but don’t ask her to do a kipping pullup.
Erin is currently taking recommendations on the best places to hit on the eastside, as she's new to Austin! If you see her out and about, she's probably on a 10 mile run for fun or petting a dog.
